Bubble Sensory Station. I created this sensory station & it was a major hit! Students enjoyed playing with bubbles and getting their handles dirty!
Our room was the sensory room. I made "kinetic sand" for students to play with. This was great for our tactile learners.

Whole Group, "We Do". Students sorted their edible goodies as we learned properties of 2d shapes.
Whole Group 3d shapes lesson: Students exercised hands on learning by naming 3d shapes. I bought in objects from home and observed the shapes with the class. This allowed us to understand shape properties.
Students participated in small group learning as they worked on tens frames skills.
Spring 2019. We visited the orchard farm . We learned about hard work that takes place on a farm and different labor jobs that take place on a farm.
"You Do" portion of a 2d lesson that I taught. Students used toothpicks and marshmallows to create 2d shapes of their choice. Students then drew the shape and identified the properties of their shape.
Our friends loved building their 2d shapes!
